At least once each week, after dinner Joe will get his guitar out. We'll sing worship songs together... and Avery will dance like crazy. I love it. Watching her express herself, with no inhibitions, makes my heart so happy. I want her to always dance.
At the beginning of this month, it was still REALLY hot. This preggo mommy needed some relief... and I was so blessed by friends offering their pools for us to swim in! My mom and I took Malachi and Avery swimming, had a picnic, and enjoyed the water. I also enjoyed the "weightless" feeling - ha ha.
I know our dogs have taken a backseat in blog-world... but I haven't forgotten our "first" kids! Asher and Cali enjoying the sun in our front room...
Malachi came over to play the other day... for some reason he and Avery enjoyed rolling this little ball across the floor and under the fridge. Since it's not so easy for me to get down and get it, I was glad Joe was around... I just thought it was cute how Avery was "helping" him with her Dora flashlight.
Joe laid out his grappling mats in the basement and the kids LOVED playing on them.
Malachi was glad Joe was around, as well - he had someone to wrestle with!
We decided to try out our new double stroller and take the kids to our neighborhood playground. They loved it! Avery kept passing her water bottle back to Malachi so he could have a drink, and Malachi insisted on wearing sunglasses like Avery... he didn't have his with him, so he borrowed her purple flowery ones. :)
Avery has been trying really hard to whistle lately. She's done it a couple of times! She can't quite get the hang of it, but we hear her trying all the time...
Last but not least, I thought this was kind of funny... my view while watching a show with Avery (using the baby as her pillow). Yeah I'm big. :)
