Joe's younger brother has been in town off and on lately (from Florida) and we love having him around. The best part is that Avery has gotten to know him better - and she gets so excited to see Uncle Steve!
She got a new toothbrush and had to show it to him :)
Malachi came over and spent a whole day with us - they played so well together!

We ventured out to the park in the crazy heat... we didn't last long, but the kids had fun!
We had a playdate with Avery's favorite girl friend, Leighton. Avery was so excited to go to Leighton's house and she is still talking about it!

It was also fun to hang out with Chele and Leighton because Leighton has a little brother now and showed Avery the ropes of being a big sister. :)
We got to swim at a friend's pool (such a blessing in the heat!). This is the best shot I could get of Malachi, Avery, and Isaiah... they didn't want to sit still. :) Do you like Avery's hair? :)

We haven't spent much time outside this summer because of the heat... but the few times we were able to escape to some water, we jumped at the chance! I'm glad August is over... today it's 60 degrees right now!!!
