Ezra started saying "da da da" towards the end of March. I kept forgetting to get video of it! I finally got a bit - and Avery was pretty cute with him.
I bought some baskets for photo props/kiddie book storage and Avery wanted to try them out. Ezra wasn't so sure...
I love her bed head.
It has become her new favorite hiding place - she is convinced no one can see her.
Unprompted sibling kiss. Mommy's heart leaps in these moments.
This is the "I don't want my picture taken" look.
Ezra has been done with his bassinet for a while now. Once he left our room, we actually put the basket part inside of his crib to help the transition to his room (thanks for the idea, Sis). I had set it next to his crib when we decided to try him just in his crib (he did great :))... and I hadn't put it away yet. Avery pulled it out, tucked her animals in, and told me good night. :)
One afternoon Avery asked me if she could help me wash dishes. I'll never say no to that question! She told me she needed an apron... and I just thought she was too cute. Apologies for the moppy hair - she is overdue for a hair cut!
My sister and I spontaneously met up to try to find something to wear for Easter... and it happened to rain like CRAZY while we were out. We knew we looked silly with our jeans rolled up and sacks on our heads as we started to run out to our cars... so we decided to take a quick picture. Well, I didn't realize my phone was on video... ha.
Then we got a picture.
Before...
and after.
Ha.
One day I had set Ezra down so I could do something and I came back to find Avery with her "snuggle stuff" next to him. They were talking and smiling... so sweet.
Ezra and I play a "game" where he grabs his feet when I go to change his diaper. He holds on with a death grip while I attempt to get his diaper off and a new one on. Good times.
