Swimming & Stuff

Some friends from church let us use their pool the other day (see, we ARE catching up :)) and it was wonderful!!  It's so nice to be able to swim around with Avery and not worry about big kids splashing her,  jumping close to her, etc. (not to mention the fact that I can swim without being completely out in public in my awesome maternity suit :)).


My mom and one of her good friends (along with her granddaughters) were there, too.  Avery gets SO excited about swimming with Grandma Bubba (dunno why - it's like Avery thinks she's fun or something ;)).

Malachi started jumping off the side in the shallow(er) end, so Avery wanted to try.  Before we knew it, Malachi wanted to go off the diving board.  Avery said she didn't want to, but then she saw Malachi do it and just HAD to do it, too. :)

Avery enjoys "helping" me with laundry.  That entails gathering random things and climbing into the laundry basket with them. :) Oh and I laugh at this pic because her legs look huge! Lol.

We love drawing with chalk outside.  Lately Avery asks me to trace her every time we're outside.  The thing is, she doesn't like to lay still as I trace her... so I have to randomly connect limbs as she rolls around.  She gets so excited about her "chalk Avery" that I don't mind at all. :)

"Hey Mommy?"
"Yes, Avery?"
"Um, I think I'm a little bit... well, a lot messy."
"Oh yes I think you are!" Hahaha...

After this, every time we go to the store, Avery asks if we can get a pillow for the cart...
