My family has a cabin on a lake in Wisconsin. We try to spend as much time there as we can (mostly during the summer). Sometime I hope to blog about the story. It's quite a history that brings us to this place.
I tend to take a lot of pictures (as if you didn't know), so my goal has been to blog on vacation so I can keep up. We'll see. Turns out I prefer to spend any free time down by the water rather than online. :)
Avery & I get to spend 3 weeks up here. Joe got to enjoy the first one with us and now he's off speaking at camps. We sure miss him...
Here we are all loaded up ready to hit the road!
We stopped for dinner - had a little picnic and stretched our legs.
We had hoped to leave around lunchtime but Joe was flying in and his flight got delayed, so we didn't end up on the road until around 4pm. We had to stop a few times because of our cartop carrier, but Avery did great! She didn't sleep much, but she was happy - singing songs at the top of her lungs, talking non-stop (per usual), and watching a few shows on the iPad (blessing for sure). We got to the cabin around 5:45 the next morning.
After resting we had to start vacay off right - in the water!
Malachi and Avery love the water. It makes my heart SO happy that I have a little water bug!

It worked awesome. How did you upload your pictures? I am about to Vacay with my ipad. Also, I was wondering if you have a recommendation for a good life jacket.
