My sister had her baby! Well, December 4th to be exact... ha.
We had baby boys just 7 weeks apart - and it's been crazy, but I LOVE IT!
We were at my Dad's company Christmas party when Cassy (Sage) started having contractions closer together. I found a site on my phone that would time contractions and keep track of them all, so I sent the link to Cassy's phone and she started using it. :) We tried to eat dinner, but were too focused on the contractions...
My sister needed to go to the bathroom and I needed to change & feed Ezra... my mom went with us to the restroom.
We never made it back to the dining room where the party was. Cassy couldn't walk right to make it back in there, so we sat in the lobby. I nursed Ezra while Cassy had contractions closer and closer together. We had to listen to my dad's speech from out there. I still got teary-eyed... everyone gave him a standing ovation. My mom went in and signaled him, so he announced to everyone there that he was leaving to possibly meet his 4th grandchild. Everyone cheered - it was so fun!
Aaron got Cassy's stuff together while Joe got mine. We left the party and went to get Avery from Jim & Susie's (Aaron's mom & stepdad). We came home and put Avery to bed - I wanted to head to the hospital right away but wanted to make sure they were keeping her. When my mom texted that they were keeping her and starting her epidural, I packed up Ezra and my camera and headed to the hospital!
Thanks to the epidural kicking in, my sister was feeling much better. Still having frequent hard contractions though!
It was late... and when my family is tired, somehow we always end up dancing.
Jacklyn and mom rocked out.
Aaron found songs on his phone for us to dance to. :)
Seesters.
Ezra slept through most of it. :)
My mom will love me for posting this... but she was so funny - dancing in her spotlight!
Fast forward to 2:32am... Jericho Mark was born (after only 15 minutes of pushing - praise God!)!!!!
7lbs 10oz and 19.5" long :)
Proud Daddy holding his son for the first time. :)
Beautiful baby boy.
My mom didn't need that spotlight - she was glowing... I mean, holding her two newest grandbabies at the same time... what more could she want?? :)
Jericho already loves his Aunt G :)
JUST LOOK at ALL THAT HAIR!
The next day (well really later that day), Joe came up to meet his new nephew. :)
Just had to get Ezra and Jericho together... and yes, I realize my baby is huge.
Precious little fingers...
Proud mommy and daddy :)
Welcome, Jericho - you are already SO loved and we're SO glad you're here!!!!
(Seester - yay for not being pregnant anymore! :))
