December Pt. 1

I'm behind... behind on housework, behind on editing, behind on blogging, behind on sleep, and probably behind on many other things as well!

My kids are fed, clean, and quite loved on... those things I've kept up on.  That's pretty good, right??

I do look back at my blog as my sort of scrapbook... so I'm going to play catch up yet again.  Here goes December!!

A couple of my sweet kiddos.  I love how Avery loves Ezra.  It does things to my heart that I didn't know were possible...

My mom got this pic of Ezra and I love love love it.  Merry Christmas! :)

Ezra likes to sleep in the oddest positions...

Funny story that I don't want to forget...
So one (fairly) cold day, I decided I wanted to wear these boots that I hadn't worn since last winter.  I got them out of my closet, and started to put them on.  My right foot wouldn't go in all the way - it felt funny.  I turned my boot over, and this is what came out:
All of a sudden I remembered... months ago, Joe had just bought me two tubes of Aquaphor (what I like to wear on my lips at night) because I couldn't find the one I had.  Avery likes chapstick as well, and she's been known to take mine. :) Anywho, he had JUST bought me those, the round thing is another chapstick, and then a bracelet I thought I'd lost.  Apparently Avery had hid them in my boot!  I remember asking her where my chapsticks were and she helped me look everywhere... but we never found them.  Until now. :)

My sweet boy - he was perpetually sick through all of December, yet he continued to give me sweet smiles and giggles. :)

Check out the awesome quilt Aunt Bek made for Ezra!  It's the perfect size for his playmat - we use it for tummy time and for him to play with his overhead toy-thingy (what is that called??).  Thanks Bek!

Avery got sick in December as well... the four of us ended up passing it back and forth to each other.  No fun.  I let her bring her "snuggle stuff" downstairs so she could lay on the couch.  I knew she didn't feel well when she cashed out with lots of noise all around her... sweet girl.

My chubby-cheeked boy trying to sleep off his sickness, too. :)

More December to come...
(ps - the spell check keeps telling me that chapstick should be chap stick... but it just looks funny to me... so I'm leaving it.  Lol :))
