Playing catch-up... here's a long post... so I'm going to keep it mostly to pictures :) Here you go!
A sweet daddy-daughter kiss to start off the month of May... my heart can hardly handle it :)
I wanted to capture a bit of what our mornings are like. I have to admit that Avery is completely right in this video. I looked on the floor for her ring, so I was convinced it was in her bed... but she knew better! I apologized when I found it... on the floor. Ha ha.
Lately Avery has been telling me she loves me (or Daddy) all the time. I love it. I can't get enough of it. Then she started saying "I love you so much, Mommy (or Daddy)" and I tear up every time. Still. Disregard the breakfast on her face... I think it's the sweetest thing ever.
Avery insisted on wearing her "shoe gloves" one day :)
My parents (Bubba and Gpa as the kids refer to them) built an awesome playhouse in their backyard - it wasn't quite finished yet, but Avery and Malachi still wanted to have a picnic up there.
One morning I got out of the shower to find this. She had found a box that had her old pacifiers in it and thought it was Christmas!
Cassy and I took the kiddos to lunch one day - as we were getting drinks we realized it looked like Malachi and Avery were just out to eat on their own. Cute.
Joe sent me this pic from his phone to let me know how lunch was going back home one day. Ha.
Avery loves her cheesehead (go Packers!) and I caught her just laying with Cali, talking to her.
Again, a pic from Joe's phone. Daddy-daughter date night = Avery getting to eat fries and ketchup for dinner (and got to drink some sweet tea)! Oh my...
My best friend Jacklyn graduated with her Masters Degree!!!!!! Congrats, Jack! I love you and I'm so proud of you!
At Jacklyn's graduation party, Avery was pretty focused on the food. :)
My sleepy girl laying on me - she said "I want to cuddle with the baby" :) Too cute.
Mother's Day! We hung out at Bubba and Gpa's and let the kiddos entertain us. They love playing with cups in the sprinkler...
Here's a short video of the action - filling their cups with water (or even with just a few drops) and taking it to the frog in the bird bath. :)
The moms and daughters - Susie, Cassy's mom-in-law, and our mom matched! :)
Gotta have the mother-daughter pic :)
Me and my mom... the most amazing woman I know. I hope to be even a fraction of the mom that she is. I love you, Mom!
Avery and Malachi are so silly - here they are enjoying their new clubhouse :)
If you're still reading... wow. I'm flying through May so I can get back on top of things!! :)
