The Glasses & The Car

A couple of weeks ago, Avery and I decided to visit Daddy at work.  Avery gets excited to go to church - and on the way there, she kept saying, "We're going to see Daddy at work!  He works at church.  He's a pastor.  He's MY pastor!" It was pretty cute.

We hadn't been there but a minute, and she wanted to try on Daddy's (fake) glasses.  Not unusual to want to try glasses on... but unusual that she didn't want to take them off.  For the rest of the day.

(these were taken on my phone, so sorry for the quality)

Avery and Malachi LOVE to play in the car.  Any car.  I think they would play in there all day if we let them.  Had to capture a bit of their goofiness. :)
(yes, Avery still has the glasses on)

A bit of the car goofiness - I love how Malachi says that he missed his turn - ha ha.

I so enjoy these random moments of silliness - they're the moments I want to hold on to forever.  I want to treasure each moment with my daughter (and nephew) as much as possible.  I've heard (and now I'm realizing) how fast time goes.  As much as I love each new day, I don't want to forget the day before.  These days are so precious.
