April Pt. 4

I thought I'd get caught up on my blog while Joe was out of the country... but alas, that didn't happen. :) Here's to playing catch up again!

Ezra sometimes acts like Avery did as far as crawling/walking... he gets so frustrated on his tummy, and would prefer to hold our fingers and walk around.  Avery did that and she skipped crawling.  I really want Ezra to crawl - there is something so cute about a crawling baby! :) Now he doesn't quite "crawl" yet, but he can get from one end of the room to the other... it's kind of a lurching, reaching, rolling thing.  Anywho, when he turned six months old I joked to Joe that we should get out Avery's old walker and see if Ezra liked it.  If nothing else, maybe it could entertain him for a bit (like another exersaucer-type thing).  Well, we put him in it, and he took off!  Here's his maiden voyage... lol.

I love Avery's imagination.  She was calling Daddy to "report" that she didn't have enough necklaces...

We had a playdate with Michele and her kiddos.  My Dad also brought Malachi so he could play with Avery and Leighton... and Ezra got to swing for the first time!

Chillin...

He loved swinging...

I got all the kids in one pic!  Granted, they aren't posed, looking at the camera, but I'll take what I can get! Ha. In the swings, from left to right... Avery, Ezra, Micah, and Leighton.  Malachi is doing karate moves toward Avery and cracking her up. :)

My kids LOVE to watch Daddy mow the lawn.

Ezra is really good at emptying things out...

He has also found a new game... ram the walker into everything.  You would think he'd be scared of the vacuum, but not so much.

Avery was trying to see the flower I put behind her ear.

Some family time outside. :)

Avery loves bath time, so I keep waiting for her to want the tub all to herself... but every night she asks if Ezra can PLEASE take a bath with her.  Mind you, we don't do bath time every night... ha.  They are so silly together.  I love it.

Shortly after Ezra figured out the walker, he was all over the house.  He loved to chase Asher and go under our kitchen table.  Back in April he still fit nicely under the table.  We now have to keep him from going under there and bonking his head.

Enjoying some banana. :)

Ezra's first Orange Leaf experience.  I let him taste mine - surprise surprise... he liked it.

Don't judge.  I let my daughter jump on the bed. :)

She cracks me up.  Her little friend Emmalyn is in the background.

Emmalyn and Avery had a fun playdate.  Here they were sharing a dandelion.

Back in April Ezra said "da da" all the time.  Ma ma?  Not so much.  When I tried to get him to say it, he thought that was funny.

For those of you who know Avery, this is nothing out of the ordinary... but she is so random and silly.  Here she was showing me "how to dance when you're sitting down." :)
