Snow Day #3!

So I got all excited posting about a snow day a couple of weeks ago... banking on the fact that we rarely have snow days around here and that would be my only "snow day" post.  Well, welcome to snow day numero tres.  This weather has been crazy!  I don't remember the last time I saw this much snow. :)


For the most part, it's been too cold for Avery to play outside... but that doesn't mean she doesn't ask!


Last Wednesday Avery woke up asking to play in the snow... and asking... and asking.  I called my sister and Malachi had cabin fever, too.  So They came over, we bundled the kiddos up, and let them go out in our backyard.  It was only 8 degrees out so we knew it would be short-lived, and it was. :) Malachi and Avery were SO excited to go outside, throw a few snowballs, kick the snow around, then come back in after about 4 minutes. :)

Yes, her snow stuff is a bit big... but perhaps it'll fit next year?

Malachi was pretty cold - he didn't run around like he usually does!

Both Avery and Malachi asked for their sunglasses because it was "too bright outside".  Cute.

Now that I'm posting this, it's actually warming up a bit!   Yay!
