Avery turned 6 months old yesterday! Joe had a wonderful idea - I made cupcakes and made a special one for Avery. Though she can't eat it, we still let her make a mess! Here's a few pics from our 1/2 birthday party for Avery! :)
She wasn't sure what she was supposed to do with it all... I'm pretty sure her favorite part was playing in the water when we cleaned her up in the sink!As a birthday gift, we let Avery try solids! She dove for the spoon - it was so cute! :)
Happy 1/2 birthday to my sweet, wonderful daughter. I love you more than words can express. I love watching you grow, change, and learn. Thank you for the joy you bring to our lives. God, thank you for blessing us with such an incredible gift.

what a great idea! i bet she will start to love that solid food! we started liam at 4 months and he has been a pretty big fan every since :)
