A good friend of mine from high school and college, Jess - and her husband Joel have a beautiful 10 month old girl named Cora. Cora has been struggling with a long string of painful ear infections and a few random black eyes. They weren't sure what was causing it. Jess took Cora in for a check-up and they now believe she has cancer. Originally the doctors were fairly convinced that it was leukemia, but now they're thinking it is another form of cancer.
Cora underwent major surgery this afternoon (I don't know how it went yet) and they're thinking chemo treatments will start soon.
I'm sharing this to ask all of you to PLEASE PRAY. Pray that the doctors would be able to find out exactly what is going on in Cora's little body, pray that they'll know what to do, and pray for Jess & Joel as they are watching their little girl go through this. Pray for strength and comfort. Most of all, please pray for HEALING in the name of Jesus. We know a God that is fully capable and loves to touch His children, so please pray with us that God will heal Cora's tiny body and restore her to full health.
