It has been almost 6 weeks since little Cora went to be with Jesus. Since then, people have showed their support for the McClenahans in a variety of ways. Some have donated money towards the playground being erected in memory Cora. Some of made items and sold them, with the profits going to the memorial or to the Macs. Today, Jess and Joel were featured in an article in the Newton Kansan. You can read the article here. I can't imagine how hard it was for them to give the interview... but Jesus is seen through them and throughout the article.
As if the interview for the paper wasn't taxing enough, Jess & Joel were asked to give a TV interview. I'm in awe of how they draw upon Jesus for their strength. I pray that through the news tonight even more are touched by Cora's story... and more importantly that people see Jesus in it all. You can read the Macs blog here.

Jess and Joel, you are an inspiration to me. I, too, wish you could have your daughter back. I wish I could ease your pain... at the same time, I'm so thankful that we know the Savior that is MORE than able to heal and restore. You are daily in my thoughts and prayers.
