For those of you who want details... I'll try to keep our blog updated :)
We went to the doctor yesterday, 10/8/08. Though I felt completely horrible, it was an amazing experience. Our Doctor did a sonogram for us and we saw our small bean/peanut of a baby. :) It measured 1.17cm - and how crazy is it that something that small has a heart that beats 170 beats per minute?!?!? It was a little emotional... and relieving. Having been sick for 2 weeks straight, I found that hearing that little fast heartbeat and seeing that tiny blob on the screen made it all worth it. God is growing a human in me... and I'm beyond thankful. I know that it's normal to feel this awful - but it still stinks. :) I awoke this morning with a more positive outlook, though... knowing for sure that someone's little life depends on me. :)

I'm so blessed... blessed that God has chosen to bless Joe & I with a child... and so incredibly blessed to have an amazing husband by my side. Joe, thank you for taking care of me - and taking care of the house - you amaze me constantly. :)

I'm 8 weeks along and due May 21st, 2009. The next 7 months are going to be exciting and interesting - I can't wait!

Awww, congratulations! Now everyone can stop asking you when it's your turn! :) Hope you feel better soon and can just enjoy pregnancy. That's fun that you and your sister will have babies so close in age. Those cousins will be good friends! And for what it's worth, May is a great month to have a baby. :)
